How do seed companies gain access to these traits for their customers? How does the industry maintain overseas approvals? Who’s responsible for re-registration in the United States. These are issues the ag industry has to face soon when patents expire on such products as the Roundup Ready trait in soybeans. We’ll take an in-depth look at the issue in a special AgriTalk OnLine Thursday, July 15. We will start the discussion during AgriTalk Thursday and then continue in an online only session. Log on to www.AgriTalk.com/OnLine at 11 am central to hear the discussion, and email your questions to host@agritalk.com.
